Y'all knew I'd be going back after my short stop last year, so since Amy's Birthday was here, what better time to go back to Hawaii? LOL I landed Friday night in beautiful Hawaii and was oh-so-excited to begin my adventure only to be awakened by billions of text messages about a "possible" tsunami....Seriously?!? Here we go.. I thought to myself, my own personal "Black" cloud that follows me everywhere! It ended up being nothing at all and I spent most of the time sippin on a Margarita at a local Chili's. LOL
Then it was on to explore the town... eating at all my favorite restaraunts that we don't have here in Anchorage, beginning with some Pina Coladas downtown in Waikiki :) 
We heard of this great hike with amazing views, so we ventured out on a very windy day for a 3 mile hike! 
Before jetting off to Kona we drove around Oahu for some hot local spots and of course had to stop at the North Shore...
....and the Pearl Harbor Memorial
Then it was off to the Big Island...Kona! I get a little nervous before flying on the smaller planes so we treated ourselves to a cocktail on the plane :) 
While there we went to the Volcano Park, Black Sand Beaches (where I stole some sand) did some snorkeling with some sweet little sea creatures and went to the Akaka Falls...Home of the 500 foot waterfall!!!
This was the best $3 I spent down there...
